Why did we make the Suraido Wax Caddy?

It evolved one night while chatting with my brother Mark. I was grumbling about dewaxing surfboards, especially longboards. Well, there were three things that bothered me. First, I was always searching for a better scraper. Something not too flimsy, not too ridged, and easy to hold on to. Second, dealing with the gross pile of scraped wax that inevitably had to be gathered and tossed. Third, the mess -sticky hands, sticky scrapers, and bits of wax on the floor and everywhere else.

So, we imagined a simple tool that could solve all of that. I thought, "I want that, I'm going to make it." It's not a masterpiece, but it did the trick. No more, no less. And that's the story.
